15 players said they would play but only 13 actually made it to Tasik Puteri on a damp and overcast morning that threatened rain but mercifully stayed dry. With cool conditions and a course in very good order; especially the greens that were both fast and true, scoring should have been lower than recorded but...... Andrew Robinson, back from the snow fields of England, ran out the winner OCB with 37 points from R/U Tony Morris. Lowest gross was 88 by Hans Berger (clearly the cut of 10 last week only brought out the best in him!) and the most golf was played by Barry Cousins with a score that won't be recorded here. Lets just say it was a score Australia would have been proud of recently.
M&M was enjoyed by 10 of the 13 plus Raymond Keys who declined the golf, but knows where a tasty meal can be had! The makan was good as we have come to expect at the Equatorial without being outstanding but the camaraderie was excellent.
