16 turned up on a beautiful morning after heavy overnight rain and enjoyed the original 18 which played well despite the deluge. With not a lot of run off the tee the course played a little long but the greens were good if a little slow. It was a surprise therefore that so many poor scores were recorded. Golf's a funny game at times.
The clear winner was Hans Berger with the only respectable score of 41 points with Erol Akinci runner up with 33 points. The lowest gross was 86 by Kevin Wiggins and the most golf was played by Alan Holgate with 119. Hans is cut 5 and Erol 1.
