We played Staffield this week mainly to guarantee good playing conditions due to the heavy rain over the lsat week or so which made many courses wet and boggy. Staffield was in great condition even after the very heavy and continuous rain of yesterday. The weather was good with clear blue skies. We had 4 full flights today as we headed out on the North and West courses all finishing in good time by 12:30pm. We then adjourned up the road to our usual East of Highway Restaurant for a good lunch and a few needed cold ones.

Results
Peter Davies joined us for his second game this year and like the first time he won again with an excellent gross 90 (his best personal score to date) and 41 points. Runner up was Mike Smith with 39 points and a gross of 91 .... he will need to work harder to shoot his age but going by his spirit and health he stands a good chance of doing this. 3rd place was Barry Cousins with a great 38 (gross of 102), probably aided by his recent steroid injection for his knees! Best gross of the day was Geoff McLaws with and 82. Full results below:
